In 2012, Kim completed her Masters through The Pilates Center of Boulder CO. Kim is passionate about coaching clients and mentoring instructors for success. Kim has been teaching Pilates since 2001; continuing to educate herself by regularly attending workshops and taking lessons with premier instructors. Kim also holds a Pilates Method Alliance certification, the highest industry standard.

Karen is a Physical Therapist with nearly 20 years of experience in medical, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. She is certified in Functional Movement Screen Assessments, experienced in TRX and is pursuing certification in Pilates Mat. She is a lifelong athlete with over 10 years of martial arts training and black belt in Taekwondo, an experienced cyclist and has competed in many triathlons. Her passion for Pilates came about after she was diagnosed with Leukemia. Pilates helped tremendously with her physical rehabilitation and road to recovery. Karen is inspired by helping others to meet their goals while improving their strength and fitness.

Kelley is a Physical Therapist Assistant with over 16 years experience in orthopedics. She has a special interest in sports injuries related to postural dysfunction and lower extremity biomechanics, as well as the orthopedic back. Kelley holds a Pilates Mat Certification from Power Pilates of NYC, and her Comprehensive Training through Balanced Body University. Her passion for Pilates has led her to recently switch career paths in order to continue helping others. Not only has she seen and felt the difference in her own body, she’s seen the changes in others as well. “I’ve watched people overcome significant injuries to become strong, healthy individuals through Pilates work. Pilates is more than just exercise, it’s a way of life!” Kelley holds several certifications as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer as well as her PMA Certification, the highest industry standard. Her passion for fitness along with many years of treating musculoskeletal injuries has given her a true appreciation of the importance of core strengthening for improved health and well-being.

Maureen completed the Comprehensive Power Pilates teacher training in 2010. She started her journey with Pilates in 2006 as a student, and after experiencing the positive health benefits in her body, she decided to become a teacher to spread her love of the method. Since then, Maureen has completed certifications in the comprehensive modules through Balanced Body including Barre. She continues to further her education within the Pilates curriculum by attending specialty workshops that focus on strengthening the body, healing and invigorating through breath, movement, stretch and coordination.
Maureen’s teaching style honors the classical work of pilates assessing each client’s unique needs and provides them with the life changing possibilities Pilates so powerfully offers. She understands the ultimate intention of the Pilates Method and has a strong passion to share that knowledge with her clients and empower them to heal themselves with Pilates.

As a passionate and dedicated pilates student, Kylee transformed her body and her passion of pilates into her profession. As a Power Pilates mat and equipment instructor, she continues to refine the work in her own body by continuously taking lessons and empowering her clients with that new knowledge. Her experience as a student has served as a solid foundation as a teacher, coaching beginner clients with encouragement while continuing to progressively challenge them, safely and effectively. She also teaches TRX and Barre. Kylee’s dynamic personality and commitment to lifelong health shine through in each class.

Missy has always had a love for health and fitness. With over 20 years combined experience as a dancer and dance instructor for children and adults, Pilates fit perfectly into her lifestyle. Her training in movement arts combined with her passion for Pilates led her to pursue a Comprehensive Certification with Power Pilates in Mat and Reformer. Missy has a diverse experience in Pilates as a client; allowing her to understand the varying levels and qualities of instructors in our industry. Therefore, she has committed herself to the highest excellence as an instructor. Missy has inspired many dance and Pilates students.

She began teaching TRX Suspension training and Beginner Mat classes at Bodylines Pilates in 2013 while pursuing a career in Nursing. Catherine has since completed her 600-hour comprehensive training through Power Pilates of NYC and obtained her RN license in 2016. She is a Pilates Method Alliance Certified instructor with 4 years of experience and plans to continue developing her knowledge of Pilates philosophy. She enjoys instructing group, private and semi private workouts and witnessing clients experience the wonderful benefits of Pilates.

Krissy has been working in the fitness industry since 2003. Krissy believes the recipe for happy life is simple nutritious eating, exercise, and mind body movement. She is a certified Holistic Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, the largest nutrition school in the world. She is trained in Beginner and Intermediate Mat from Power Pilates. She has achieved her RYT 200 from Baptiste Power Yoga Institute. Other certifications include Group Ride, Group Power, Group Centergy, and Group Active, all from Body Training Systems.

Meg started working in the fitness industry almost a decade ago as a group fitness instructor and later, personal trainer and Pilates instructor. Meg holds certifications through Aerobic and Fitness Association of American, Boston Body Pilates, and Piloxing.
Meg brings her love and passion for Pilates and the movement arts to Bodylines with Piloxing. Created by Hollywood Pilates trainer, Vivica Jensen, Piloxing fuses together boxing, Pilates, and dance. This fun, upbeat workout is designed to give you a long, lean, and strong body from head to toe!!
Amie is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 20 years of experience in sports medicine, orthopedic, and neurological rehabilitation, with certification in KinesioTaping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). She is certified in Pilates Mat (Professional Health and Fitness Institute and Power Pilates) and is experienced in TRX. Amie will soon complete her Pilates Equipment certification (Balanced Body University), Runity Painless Running Coach certification (Polestar), and PMA credentials.
Amie has “just” started teaching a Rehab Mat semi-private on Thursdays at 9:30am in Harvard. This is available to any clients on a semi private membership or drop in package.

Alicia first became interested in health and fitness in her early teenage years. She began weight training after high school and quickly grew to love this method of training. She went on to get her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from UMass Lowell in 1997. After having children, she went back to school and got her M.Ed. and has been teaching for the past 12 years. Alicia’s interest in health and fitness has never wavered, and she went on to become a certified holistic health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Additionally, she competed in her first figure competition in November 2014. Alicia loves working with others to help them set and reach goals and improve their own health and fitness.
In addition, Alicia is a Reiki I practitioner, holds a personal training certification and actively pursues knowledge in meditation and other fitness wellness modalities.

Laura is certified in Pilates Barre, and trained in Pilates Mat through Balanced Body. Laura’s discipline in athletics was first shaped by her experience in the sport of gymnastics, training and competing for over fourteen years. Laura is a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition; she believes eating a nutrient-rich diet is one of the many keys to happiness. Teaching and studying Pilates helps to fulfill her quest for a well-balanced life: “my goal each class is to create a nurturing, environment in which clients feel inspired to grow stronger and to have fun.”

Alice works in the women’s health area, specifically focusing on urinary incontinence and pelvic floor muscles.
Graduated 1985 from the University of Florida. Initially worked at Shands teaching Hospital as a Neuro team supervisor and treatments of burn patients. She was a guest lecturer in the PT curriculum on burns and spoke in a continuing Ed programs on the treatment of heart transplant patients. She has been working in outpatient since 1990. Her Continuing Ed has been in manual therapy with a special interest in the SI. In 2006, she began treating woman with incontinence and pelvic floor pain. Alice has also taught lab classes at U Lowell for first year PT students.
She is currently trained in Power Pilates Core Mat I and pursuing further pilates training.
Alice is available for private coaching for incontinence and women’s health issues, S.I. dysfunction assessment, and manual treatment for thoracic and lumbar spine.

Teresa’s passion for physical fitness began as an active youngster in K-12 gym classes and in outdoor play such as tennis. Her physical achievements back then include excelling in the U.S. President’s physical fitness challenge. As a young adult, she ran charity 10Ks, enjoying the camaraderie and seeing the value in strong mind-body connection. However, she then stopped doing regular physical activity, which took its toll on her health. It was a September 2014 invitation to sample Bodylines’ classes that introduced her to the power of pilates to transform the body from within. Regularly taking mat, reformer and yoga classes, she gained core strength, coordination and flexibility that was greater than what she had in her fittest, younger days. Taking the Power Pilates Mat and Comprehensive instructor certification courses brought her understanding and appreciation of the classical, systematic and integrative pilates method (Contrology) to a higher level. Teresa became an employee of Kim Casto’s Bodylines in August 2016, thus fulfilling the childhood dream of becoming a fitness instructor who helps others achieve long-lasting quality of life through safe, purposeful movement.
Ryan has been running the football-conditioning program with me for the last few months, which has turned into an ongoing program at Bodylines. We hold classes on Monday and Wednesday nights. We are looking to expand the program come summer time once we can take the workouts outside.
Ryan Carroll is a 22 year old, self-acclaimed fitness fanatic. He is currently working full time as a Facility Manager at Hanscom AFB (Quantech Services Inc.) while simultaneously pursuing fitness education. Ryan recently obtained his TRX trainer certification. Self educated through playing sports, researching and reading about different theories of fitness and personally implementing in his life. Ryan persistently pursues more knowledge on body mechanics, sports performance and sports nutrition his passion is to work with athletes who are looking to improve both their health and performance.
Ryan is known in the Shirley community as a gifted baseball and football star. He has volunteered his time to work with Shirley youth football and baseball athletes. He is well respected by both coaches and kids for his knowledge, spirit, and ability to motivate.

After sustaining a severe back injury from skydiving in 2000, Meghan turned to Pilates as a rehabilitation effort. Not only did she avoid back surgery, but she lost 50 lbs in the process! Determined to share the amazing benefits of Pilates with others, Meghan left her corporate job in Marketing and Sales at the Discovery Channel to pursue her Pilates Certification. For over a decade, Meghan has worked as a Pilates Instructor on the East Coast, specializing in training men, injury/special populations, and pre and post-natal moms. Best known in the local Boston area as the Founder of MOMfitters, Meghan offered fitness and wellness classes to moms (and dads) to help them rediscover their core post pregnancy.
Meghan’s objective is to raise awareness of your body and how to strengthen it, making you less susceptible to injury and more receptive to your full fitness potential…and, to have fun while doing it!

Maggie holds a BFA from the Boston Conservatory in Contemporary Dance Performance, which is where her study of Pilates and pedagogy began under Donna Silva. While working as a professional performance artist she began teaching dance and fitness, utilizing her study of somatics, anatomy and Pilates mat.
After struggling with injuries and a structural spinal issue, Maggie was inspired by a healing approach to movement. She decided to pursue the classical method of Power Pilates and began the Comprehensive training in 2016 while continuing to teach ballet to all age groups. She is passionate about alignment and personal wellness in all areas of instruction, and continues to be inspired by how the body can change with the right tools.
Andrea is a software security architect who began her path into Pilates at Bodylines to rehabilitate from shoulder bursitis and hip pain. Andrea’s initial goal was to be able to resume jogs in the woods with her three dogs and retain mobility in her 50’s and beyond. Through a combination of Mat, equipment, and private classes, she quickly surpassed this goal while also experiencing enhanced energy, stamina, mental focus, and a calmer approach to her daily work and activities. She has Core Mat 1 and 2 teaching certificates from Power Pilates and is actively working toward the 600 hour Comprehensive Apparatus certificate. She is passionate about teaching older clients like herself so they can experience the physical and mental benefits of Pilates.
Cassie first started with pilates in 2007, when she moved up to Newburyport, MA and walked by PortPilates Studio, run by Laurie Hayes. She signed up, and for the next year, would wake up at 6:45am to run down the street from her apartment to the studio for her 2x weekly 7am semi-private.
Cassie then moved, and pilates wasn’t as accessible–but she remained pretty involved in keeping fit–yoga, running, the entire Insanity workout with Sean T (for those of you BeachBody fans!) , and even her one and only (to date) half marathon.
In 2013, Cassie noticed Bodylines Pilates’ Harvard studio, and signed up online. Before too long, Cassie was back in the pilates groove. At the beginning of 2017, she began her journey to become a pilates instructor! As of May, 2017, she is certified in Mat, and at then end of June, will be certified in Barre, and well on her way to being certified to teach all pilates equipment classes, at all levels.
