Studio Policies

12-Hour Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations for a group class reservation must be made at least 12 hours (private session is 24 hours) in advance to avoid a “Late Cancel”.  Those not cancelled before the corresponding hour will be marked as a “late cancel”. A late cancel will cause the class to be deducted from your account.  If your membership has unlimited classes then you will be charged a $10/class late fee for each of the unlimited classes that you late cancel.

You are free to manage your class schedule through our online scheduling system, which includes the ability to cancel your spot in a class. You may also give us a call or send an email if you need to cancel or change your reservation.

Please make sure you schedule your classes, if a class has less than 3 clients, the class is subject to cancellation.

This policy is also to ensure that we don’t late cancel on you!

Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated, all sales are final.  There are no refunds or transfers on any purchases except in the event of health emergencies at the sole discretion of Bodylines Pilates Management.  In the event, there is a refund granted, a 10% transaction processing fee will be charged.

Membership Termination

To terminate a month to month membership at Bodylines, send an email to bodylinespilates@yahoo.com and write “Terminate Membership” in the subject. The email is date stamped and valid from the day and time Bodylines receives the email (Eastern Time). Termination must be a full 30 days in advance.

For example, if you want to terminate your membership in January and your membership fees are deducted on the 5th of the month, Bodylines must receive the termination notice no later than December 5th. If, however, Bodylines receives the termination email on or after December 6th, the termination will not go into effect until the corresponding day in January and the January 5th payment will still be withdrawn. If the January 5th payment were withdrawn in this scenario you would still have access to the studio through February 4th.

Termination must be before the next 3 month cycle would start or it is considered an early termination.

Early Membership Termination

Terminating before your membership is up will result in a processing fee.  A few exceptions are allowed, injury/illness that would prevent you from returning or a move that is far away.  Both require verification. 

Early terminating a 12 month membership results in a $150 processing fee.
Early terminating a 3 month membership results in a $75 processing fee.

 

Suspension of Membership

We allow 3 suspensions a year. A suspension is considered 1 month; if more is needed contact the membership office to discuss terminating membership.  NOTE suspensions are not allowed on promotions/specials.
Medical suspensions available provided written notification from physician and at the sole discretion of Bodylines Pilates Management.

 

Credit Card failures

In the event of a failed credit card charge, you will be notified via email automatically.  If you do not update your credit card or notify us to update the card information within two calendar days and the card is declined a second time, you will be charged a $10 late fee.

Sock Policy

For sanitary reasons, we ask all our clients to wear socks. Should you forget your socks, we have socks available for purchase at the studio.

For those classes requiring sneakers, we require that you change into your “clean” studio sneakers upon arrival.

Please silence cell phones during class

If you must bring your phone with you into the studio, please make sure you set it to silent or vibrate.

No heavy perfumes or cologne

Out of respect to those with chemical sensitivity, please refrain from wearing any heavily scented products to the studio.

Inclement weather policy

Due to the nature of New England Weather, our goal is to be a reliable business but not put our staff or clients in a compromising situation.

Cancelling:

  • Any classes 5am- 8am. Decision will be made the night before by 9pm.
  • Any classes 8:30 am+ will be decided 2 hours prior to the scheduled class time.
  • Bodylines will be contacting you via email if there is a class cancellation due to inclement weather. Please update your email and cell/home phone information in MBO
  • In the event that there are electrical outages in the area. Please provide a cell phone number.
  • You will NOT be charged for any cancelled classes that we, Bodylines Pilates, cancels due to inclement weather. You will be automatically ‘early’ cancelled in the system. If YOU choose to cancel in less than 12 hours in advance, you will be charged for that class. See cancellation policy about.

Parking at Harvard Studio

Bodylines clients are required to park on the side of the Appleworks building.

Attire

Anything you can move freely in is acceptable, but baggy clothing makes it harder for our instructors to see if your alignment is correct.

After class

Kindly wipe clean your mat/equipment and area for the next client.  Instructors may ask you to help put props away.  How did we do?  We love Feedback!
