Become A Power Pilates Teacher
The Power Pilates curriculum provides the highest quality education and Pilates training within the industry. Uniform training standards and our Power Pilates Teaching Tools provide an essential blueprint for students to reach their full potential. These tools address the anatomical foundations, ideal and alternative movements, and specific verbal and sensory cues to provide the student with a thorough teaching foundation.
Core Mat I
Core Mat I graduates teach intro and beginner group classes and private sessions. Register here.
Core Mat II
Core Mat II graduates teach mixed-level group classes as well as intermediate private sessions. Register here.
Dual Mat
The Dual Mat program offers the Core Mat I & II weekends at a discount of $200.The Core Mat I (Beginner Mat level) program is the foundation of the Power Pilates method. Each subsequent program builds upon the information learned during this course. During this weekend you will learn to teach the 18 beginner level mat exercises and be introduced to Power Pilates teaching tools, philosophy, and teaching formula. Every student new to Power Pilates must start with Core Mat I.During the Core Mat II (Intermediate Mat level) weekend, you will learn 12 intermediate level exercises, including where to add them within the sequence of the beginner level mat class, and continue to work on your teaching skills. Our students say that “everything starts to click” during the Core Mat II weekend. Completing the Core Mat II weekend expands the range of clients you can work with and strengthens your teaching ability. Core Mat I & II are required to progress to the Comprehensive program. Comprehensive
The Comprehensive training is our most extensive program and covers beginner, intermediate and advanced levels utilizing the Pilates apparatus – Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, Ped-o-Pull and Magic Circle – as well as understanding how to work with Special Case clients (i.e. obesity, pregnancy, back problem, neck, knee, shoulder, etc.). In select areas, this program may also be completed as Apparatus I (Beginner), Apparatus II (Intermediate), and Apparatus III (Advanced). Register here.
