The Yoga of Yes: 10 – 12

Join Jurian Hughes, Kripalu yogi and actress, for a passionate and inspiring exploration into some of the core teachings of yoga and theatre – worlds that have a surprising amount in common. Learn the seven principles of the Yoga of Yes, which can be practiced daily – on and off the mat — to access courage, calm and creativity in the face of fear and self-criticism. For those who long to reconnect to their authentic self, this workshop provides an opportunity to enhance listening skills, to let go of the thinking mind, and to trust the guidance of prana within. Lecture, discussion, and gentle movement, appropriate for everyone.

Chakra Yoga Flow: 1 – 3

The Chakras: Though we may not be able to see or touch them, we can feel when they’re out of balance; leaving us blocked, depleted or unwell. Discover how ancient India’s chakra system offers us a powerful map to clear, re-vitalize and balance these energy centers through yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, chanting and affirmation. Yoga practiced on its own has many wonderful benefits, but yoga practiced with a focus on the chakras can be surprisingly potent and even transformational. Lecture and gentle-to-moderate movement, appropriate for everyone.
